Nickel 200/201 is most widely used grade, generally specified for transistor caps, anodes for electronic tubes, leads of electronic components / Lead-in-Wires for lamps and for Wire-Mesh. Also used in strip form for various applications including Ni-Cd batteries.
Nickel 205 is also used for similar applications as Ni 200, mostly where higher purity and conductivity is required; inner parts of bulbs and electron tubes.
Condition of Supply
Nickel 200, 201 and 205 are supplied in the following conditions:
- Cold Drawn, Special Temper.
- Cold Drawn, Annealed. Straightened and Cut Lengths.
