Nickel 211/212 has some percentage of Mn in it, making it a bit stiff. It is mainly used in cables, Lead-in-Wire for lamps, electronic tube supports and wire cloth. It also finds its extensive use for wire mesh and filters for the chemical and petro-chemical industries. It is a good thermal conductor and has good corrosion resistance.
Condition of Supply
Nickel 211/212 are supplied in the following conditions:
- Cold Drawn, Special Temper.
- Cold Drawn, Annealed. Straightened and Cut Lengths.
